Although in their small, Palermo fans can dream on 8 June 2009 and will remain a historic day for some of them but not for the company Rosanero. Having played a great championship and the year after defeating the elimination phase the likes of Sampdoria and Juventus, the team's spring football is a graduate of Palermo, for the first time in its history, beating champions Italy, in a final tiratissima, the same age for 1 to 0 of Siena thanks to a goal of the talented Hernandez arrived 89 minutes. The player also provided by the first team this spring for the "final eight", was voted best player of the tournament.
