The project ideas submitted to re-evaluate the road network within the historic core of ancient formation. This need has emerged following the implementation of the new variant road to the capital, and the reclamation projects of the building and the building of the Villa Comunale Mossa.
The project involves the decongestion of the most important axis car that crosses the country identified with Via Martiri della Libertà, this intervention also impacts on the streets or stretches of roads connecting the main axis. More precisely, the streets and squares concerned are:

As suggested by the invitation itself, has changed its direction by establishing the way in the direction of the Via Martiri Graglia, and sense one verse in Biella Via XXIV Maggio and CB Moscow. Furthermore, it was expected the ban on heavy vehicles beyond the range of 35 quintals.
In this stretch of road, the high concentration of vehicles and disregard of traffic rules have been found so far among the main causes of accidents in urban areas, creating dangerous situations, especially the most vulnerable pedestrians, pedestrians.

Some observations relating to materials and colors used in the painting of the facades have been useful to hypothesize a chromatic scale to be taken in case of repainting of buildings facing the streets involved in the historic road system within the core of ancient formation by the competition. The chromatic scale favors the warm tones of yellow and pink.
The project proposal intends to initiate a process of urban development and architectural and environmental sustainability, which triggers a new model of socio-economic development of historical center, and provide a better use of urban space and architectural .
